Jason Chew is a seasoned member of SA with over 16 years of experience in the financial advisory industry. His journey began while pursuing his banking and finance degree at SIM, when he made the early decision to step into the world of financial advisory as a student advisor. With a clear passion for finance and a long-term vision for his career, Jason saw the opportunity to gain a head start over his peers—and never looked back.
Jason’s core expertise lies in retirement planning, where he has helped hundreds of clients achieve financial readiness for the long term. His interest in this area was shaped by deeply personal experiences, having witnessed his own parents struggle with job security and financial stability during the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis and SARS outbreak. The sense of vulnerability that emerged during those turbulent years made a lasting impression, instilling in him the belief that retirement and financial security should never be left to chance.
Beyond retirement planning, Jason supports clients in a wide range of areas including risk management, medical and critical illness claims, and estate planning. He is a strong believer in staying relevant in a fast-changing landscape. To that end, he commits to attending professional development courses annually, ensuring that his advisory remains responsive and attuned to evolving client needs.
While income was initially a motivating factor, it is the meaningful impact of his work that continues to fuel Jason’s purpose. Whether it’s guiding clients through a death claim or helping a family manage medical bills without sacrificing their financial future, he sees every case as an opportunity to be of real service during life's most difficult moments.
Jason is driven by values of growth, integrity, and perseverance. His belief in trusting the process and doing the right thing has anchored his career for over a decade. As he often shares with his team, “If you're doing the right thing, you’ll eventually get there.”
