Financial Services Consultant

Behind every career and profession, there is a person with a story to share, be it whether you are a farmer, an entrepreneur or a politician. To each, uniquely individual to the person.

Mine is a colourful one which saw the first half spent in the corporate world of Advertising, Marketing and Business Management of fast-moving consumer household brands, to name a few… Milo, L’oreal, and Magnolia. Then a newly created position advertised in The Straits Times to market their consumer & investment banking attracted me to make a mid-career switch to Financial industry.
I joined the financial industry during the era when Financial Planning, as an integral part of an individual’s lifetime financial well-being underwent evolutionary change in terms of its selling and marketing process. That actually propelled me to join the sales force in AIA Singapore with aspirations to becoming a certified Financial Planner.

This mid-career shift was in fact a turning point that had shaped not only my perspectives and value towards job purpose but also the true meaning of life today.

It opens the door for me to build meaningful relationship with policy holders, helped them and their families in cementing a strong foundation for their future wealth accumulation, protection and distribution.

This career had also uncovered my potential in the area of sharing and connecting my clients to seeking appropriate medical advice and treatment amongst professional medical practitioners.

Clients who benefitted from my help include a 50-yr old Taiwanese family man who survived advanced stage Lung Cancer with medical treatment received in Singapore in 2003. He won the battle and is living healthily and leading a normal life till today. There was also a 16-year old boy from Shanghai who contracted a rare cancer and had successfully been in remission for the past 9 years.

I look forward to engaging and helping more clients with whom I shall walk with them throughout their life journey. This is my motto, my job purpose and my passion that money cannot buy.
